Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Askiyy. Can’t find an answer? We’re a message away.

Who is Askiyy for?
Askiyy is built for advocates, lawyers, and law firms in India, along with in-house legal teams and founders who deal with contracts regularly. It is a workspace for legal research, contract review, and matter organisation, not a general-purpose chat tool.
Does Askiyy replace lawyers?
No. Askiyy is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation, and using it does not create an advocate–client relationship. It helps you get through research and documents faster, but legal judgement stays with a qualified advocate.
How is AI used in Askiyy?
AI runs underneath specific workflows: summarising documents, surfacing relevant clauses, and helping you research faster. It is one part of the workspace, not the whole product, and every AI-generated answer links back to a source you can check.
Are uploaded documents private?
Yes. Documents and conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data or use your documents to train public models, and you can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What jurisdictions are supported?
Askiyy is built around Indian law: central statutes, state amendments, and case law from Indian courts. Coverage is expanding, so if a specific area or state isn’t there yet, tell us at hello@askiyy.com.
Is Askiyy available today?
Askiyy is currently under development. You can join the waitlist to get early access as we roll it out, and we’ll email you as soon as your account is ready.
Can teams collaborate in Askiyy?
Shared workspaces, matter-level access, and admin controls are on the roadmap for teams and firms. Contact enterprise@askiyy.com if you want to talk about a pilot for your firm.
What is included in early access?
Early access gives you the core workspace as it ships: document review, research, and Q&A on your own material. Features are added on a rolling basis, and early users get a direct line to the team for feedback.
